到了楼下，爸爸问我，狗蛋，你自己点一个鞭炮怎么样?我拼命摇头，爸爸笑了，说胆小鬼，呵呵，看我的。只见爸爸拿起一个鞭炮，放在地上，然后点燃了一根火折子，他拿着点燃的火折子，把有火的一头伸向鞭炮的引线。
我紧张地捂住了耳朵，爸爸看了我一眼说，男子汉，胆子大点。我还是捂住耳朵不放，这时爸爸已经点燃了鞭炮，火苗沿着引线嗞嗞燃烧，很快引线燃完了，停了大约一两秒。突然，砰!鞭炮爆炸了。我的身体随着鞭炮爆炸的声音一颤。还好，只是除了声音有点震耳，鞭炮根本不会炸到人。
接着，爸爸又点了很多各种各样的鞭炮。慢慢地我就不害怕了，也不再捂住耳朵了。
放鞭炮真好玩。虽然这次我没有自己来放，但我希望明年过年的时候，我能自己来放，因为我跟爸爸一样，也是个男子汉。
